Legal Notice & GDPR
Who we are legally, what that means for your bookings, and the data-protection rights that apply — including GDPR for anyone visiting from Europe.
In short
We're Flower Craft Workshop Limited, a registered NZ company. NZ Privacy Act applies to everyone; GDPR rights apply to EU visitors on top.

2. GDPR & your data rights
We're a New Zealand company, so the NZ Privacy Act 2020 is our home law. But if you're visiting the site or booking from the EU/UK, GDPR gives you extra rights and we honour them: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — the full set. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why; this section is about your power over it.
- Ask for a copy of everything we hold about you.
- Ask us to fix anything that's wrong.
- Ask us to delete it (with the usual legal-record caveats for paid invoices).
- Object to marketing — though honestly the only marketing is the newsletter you chose.
Email flowercraftworkshop@gmail.com with 'GDPR request' in the subject. We respond within 30 days as GDPR requires — typically much faster.
3. Liability
Floristry involves sharp tools and wet floors — we take reasonable care, brief every class on tool safety, and provide aprons. You're responsible for following the safety demo. Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of your booking, which NZ law allows us to do and fair enough too.
4. Governing law
New Zealand law governs this site and our services. Disputes go to NZ courts — though in nine years we've sorted every disagreement over email and a coffee, which we'd rather keep doing.
